lilac sky no. 2
2018
oil on canvas
160 x 160 cm
unique
lilac flowers grow in clusters,
guarded by the greenery of nature that reveals
itself in the leaves
and the bushes of may,
alone they stand;
four petals, carefully sawn into one.
together they stand
as a collection of fragile frond radiating
in the sun of june, july, august
at a closer observation, the little stitches
at stem
connecting them together
seem almost faint
as they blend into the outline
of every single petal
made of cotton
a collection of clouds stand
like a lilac puff.
