Thuy Nguyen has, once again, mesmerised fashion lovers, both domestically and internationally, by introducing the enchantment of Vietnam’s northern countryside.
Her collection “Lúng Liếng,” or Northen Charm, was the opening treat of the Vietnam International Fashion Week 2015; it has managed to excite the wild audience of Vietnamese fashion enthusiasts with its playful take on Northern folklore. True to its name, the show has been able to unite the magnetism of the models and the spirit of Hanoian heritage. fused with a clever choice of music. With key materials of this collection being velvet and brocade, Helly Tong, Vietnam's current hot topic, came out in an off-shoulder maxi dress, followed by the victor of Vietnam’s Next Top Model 2015, Huong Ly, who was wearing a twisted version of a Áo Yếm, a traditional Vietnamese bodice.
The collection entailed many charming moments from delicately cut bare shoulders to hand-embroidered images of Vietnamese girls dressed in Áo Dà's participating in everyday garden activities to hand-painted patterns of coconut and banana trees. Thuy Nguyen has magically managed to integrate forgotten tradition into a modern context, into the wardrobe of a woman of today.
Pink cheeks, tight ponytails, delicate design, a glowing pair of eyes - all the physical aspects that mark the exquisite charisma of a Northern woman were embraced in this collection with confidence and ease. The show was wrapped up with stunning, intricate neck pieces hidden under a see-through material hanging from the models.
Thuy Nguyen's adoration for the rural farmlands and her creative spirit have captivated guest with its powerful representation and its good old charm, both locally and internationally.

Bộ sưu tập “Lúng liếng” của Thủy Nguyễn mở màn đêm diễn thứ hai của Vietnam International Fashion Week 2015 bằng sự chào đón của đông đảo giới mộ điệu thời trang Việt.
Đúng với cái tên được đặt, buổi trình diễn thống nhất tinh thần từ trang phục, thần thái người mẫu, kiểu trang điểm, cho đến cách chọn nhạc thông minh. Lấy chất liệu nhung và gấm làm trung tâm sáng tạo, Thủy Nguyễn chọn hot girl Helly Tống làm gương mặt mở màn trong trang phục đầm dài lệch vai. Tiếp ngay theo đó là quán quân Vietnam Next Top Model 2015 Hương Ly trong trang phục đầm với phần trên là áo yếm cách điệu.
Lúng liếng từ những bờ vai trần, từ hình họa thêu tay cô gái Việt Nam trong tà áo dài hay hình bóng cây dừa tuổi thơ của nhiều người dân đất Việt, Thủy Nguyễn thổi hơi thở truyền thống trên phom dáng cổ điển của trang phục Tây phương. Ánh mắt hấp háy, gò má cao tô hồng, kiểu tóc vấn khăn vành, đuôi gà phất phơ đậm dấu ấn vùng miền của người phụ nữ Bắc bộ, tất cả được nhà thiết kế vận dụng triệt để trong các thiết kế.
Kết thúc buổi trình diễn, khán giả còn ngẩn ngơ với những chiếc cổ cao hở gáy nhấp nhô, lấp ló làn da sau nền chất liệu xuyên thấu. Tinh thần thiết kế sáng tạo thấm đượm màu sắc quê hương của Thủy Nguyễn thu hút sự chú ý của khách mời Việt Nam và quốc tế, lúng liếng và gọi mời.
