(phunuphatluat.vn) - Adopted elements that are intrinsic to Vietnamese culture and promoted local heritage through her designs, fashion designer Thuỷ Nguyễn was the first to receive "The Most Creative Designer" award.
"Fashion Designer with significant contributions of the year" belongs to Thuỷ Nguyễn.
Thuỷ Nguyễn is one of the fashion designers whose works are loved by fashion lovers from Vietnam and beyond.
A collection that Thuỷ Nguyễn brought with her to Paris earlier this year.
She is one of the most well-loved and frequent designers of Vietnam International Fashion Week. Yet, Thuỷ Nguyễn never ceased to amaze everyone every season with her collections.
From "Lúng Liếng" in 2015 - a very unique take on Vietnamese arts and culture, to "Mong Mi" in 2017, which wowed the audience at Vietnam International Fashion Week by the introduction of Đạo Mẫu onto the catwalk stage. With "Cô Ba Sài Gòn" (2017), Thuỷ Nguyễn reinvented the fashion of the past, while in Fall-Winter of 2019, she retold the story of princess Mị Châu with the collection of the same name.

Apart from important contributions to Vietnam's fashion scene, Thuỷ Nguyễn also helped introduce Vietnam's culture and heritage to international audiences. Having spent 10 seasons with VIFW, it is no doubt that Thuỷ Nguyễn is the right person to receive "The Most Creative Designer" from Vietnam Fashion Awards.

Từ “Lúng liếng” đậm bản sắc vào năm 2015, tới việc đem tín ngưỡng thờ Mẫu lên sân khấu Tuần lễ Thời trang Việt Nam vào năm 2017 với BST “Mộng mị”, hay tân thời với “Cô Ba Sài Gòn" vào 2017, và là người đầu tiên đem câu truyện truyền thuyết vào trong BST của mình với “Nàng Mị” tại Tuần lễ Thời trang Quốc tế Việt Nam Thu Đông 2019.
Không chỉ có những đóng góp quan trọng cho làng thời trang, mà Thủy Nguyễn còn góp phần mang văn hóa Việt giới thiệu tới bạn bè thế giới. Trải qua hành trình 10 mùa cùng VIFW, không ai khác xứng đáng hơn Thủy Nguyễn để nhận giải thưởng “The Most Creative Designer” của Vietnam Fashion Awards.
