Tia-Thuỷ Nguyễn and Phố Bên Đồi 2019
I'm delighted to be a part of Phố Bên Đồi's upcoming festival in Dalat city. My painting, "Mid-Autumn #1" (2018) will be adapted into a mural at Dốc Nhà Làng neighbourhood. The mural will be on display for two years. I can't wait to share with you the final look!!!
Phố Bên Đồi or The City on Hills is Vietnam's first annual, inter- and multidisciplinary community art project taking place in Dalat city, Central Highlands region of Vietnam. With each edition responding to a specific theme, Phố Bên Đồi aims to transform the city - at the moment one of the hottest travel destinations in Vietnam, into an art and cultural hub of Vietnam and ambitiously Southeast Asia.
Tia-Thuỷ Nguyễn will be giving a talk at Vietnamme Talk's first edition about the use of tradition and heritage in her fashion and artistic endeavours.
This programme is a space in which artists and art seekers are able to exchange creative dialogues, with a hope to not only embrace the art-loving community, but also evoke Vietnamese inspiration in every people.
